	My name is Louie Smith. I live in Southeast Missouri. I create points and blades from slabs and spalls using lapidary techniques, pressure flaking and copper percussion methods. I like slab knapping and percussion equally well. Long ago knapping was a survival skill as well as an art form. Today, thankfully, knapping is primarily an art form.
